Adult Sexual Exploitation Policy

Creating a safe and respectful online environment is essential to fostering meaningful discussions and community support while preventing harm. Nexus recognizes the importance of open dialogue surrounding sexual violence, exploitation, and survivors’ experiences. However, we strictly prohibit any content that depicts, promotes, or facilitates sexual exploitation, assault, or non-consensual sexual activity.

This policy is designed to protect survivors, prevent further harm, and ensure that discussions about these issues are conducted in a responsible and supportive manner. Content that advocates for or attempts to normalize sexual violence will be removed, and in cases where there is a credible threat, we may disable the posting account and collaborate with law enforcement.

In addition to removing harmful content, Nexus actively works with external safety organizations and experts to strengthen protections against non-consensual intimate images, coercive practices, and other forms of sexual exploitation. Survivors who encounter violations of this policy are encouraged to report content, and we have implemented advanced technology to detect and prevent the spread of such material.

Prohibited Content:

Any content that promotes, glorifies, or facilitates non-consensual sexual activity is strictly prohibited. This includes direct depictions, threats, coercion, and any form of advocacy for sexual violence.

Non-Consensual Sexual Activity And Assault

Content depicting, describing, or making threats of non-consensual sexual contact will be removed. This includes:

  • Images, videos, or audio recordings that depict sexual violence, assault, or exploitation.

  • Content that promotes, advocates for, or threatens acts of sexual violence.

  • Attempts to coordinate or facilitate non-consensual sexual encounters.

  • Statements attempting to share, trade, or solicit imagery related to sexual violence.

  • Descriptions of non-consensual sexual acts, unless shared by the survivor or in support of the survivor.

  • Mocking or degrading survivors of sexual violence.

  • Content identifying survivors of sexual assault without their consent.

While discussions on sexual violence and exploitation for awareness and support purposes are allowed, they must not include graphic details that could be traumatizing or exploitative unless shared by survivors or in a supportive context.

Coercion And Sexual Exploitation:

Nexus prohibits any content that exploits individuals through manipulation, coercion, or threats related to sexual activity. This includes:

  • Sextortion, or the act of threatening to share intimate imagery or personal information to force compliance.

  • Sharing, threatening to share, or soliciting non-consensual intimate images (NCII).

  • Offering services, tools, or instructions to create or manipulate non-consensual intimate images.

  • Secretly taking and distributing sexually suggestive or intimate imagery, commonly known as "creepshots" or "upskirts."

  • Sharing or threatening to share private sexual conversations without the consent of those involved.

For NCII content to be considered a violation, the imagery must:

  1. Be non-commercial and created in a private setting.

  2. Depict nudity, sexual activity, or sexually suggestive poses.

  3. Be shared without consent, as indicated by threatening captions, media reports, or reports from the person depicted.

We take immediate action against anyone who attempts to engage in or facilitate these behaviors, including disabling accounts and reporting cases to law enforcement.

Necrophilia And Forced Stripping:

Nexus prohibits all content related to necrophilia or forced stripping. This includes:

  • Any image, video, or description depicting necrophilia or forced stripping.

  • Attempts to share, solicit, or threaten to distribute such content.

  • Statements that advocate for, describe, or mock survivors of forced stripping or necrophilia.

Fictional depictions of these acts may be allowed in artistic or documentary contexts when explicitly condemning the act and not used to exploit or entertain.

Limited Exceptions And Content Restrictions:

In certain cases, Nexus allows discussions and content related to sexual violence, provided it serves an educational, awareness-raising, or support purpose. These exceptions include:

  • Survivors sharing their experiences to raise awareness or seek support.

  • Educational discussions about sexual violence prevention, consent, and survivor resources.

  • Journalistic or advocacy content highlighting issues related to sexual violence, provided it does not sensationalize or exploit the subject.

Content containing graphic descriptions or depictions of non-consensual sexual touching will be subject to sensitivity warnings and may be restricted to users over the age of 18. This applies to:

  • Written or verbal descriptions of sexual assault with detailed accounts beyond general references.

  • Fictional content depicting non-consensual acts (e.g., movie trailers) when shared by trusted organizations for awareness purposes.

  • Imagery that does not include nudity but depicts sexual violence in an awareness-raising context.

Enforcement And Consequences:

Nexus actively enforces this policy through content moderation, user reporting mechanisms, and partnerships with safety organizations. If content is found in violation:

  • The material will be removed, and in cases of severe violations, the responsible account may be disabled.

  • Content related to NCII will be immediately flagged and blocked to prevent further distribution.

  • In cases involving credible threats or illegal sexual exploitation, Nexus may report content to law enforcement.

  • Any content shared by third parties identifying survivors of sexual assault without consent may be removed when reported by the survivor or a trusted representative.

Technology And Reporting Mechanisms:

Nexus employs advanced detection tools to identify and prevent the spread of non-consensual intimate images and exploitative content. Our systems are designed to:

  • Detect and remove reported NCII content using secure, privacy-focused technology.

  • Work with international safety organizations to monitor and enforce policies on sexual exploitation.

  • Provide resources for survivors to report violations and request removal of harmful content.

Individuals who encounter non-consensual intimate images or sexually exploitative content can report violations directly. Nexus also collaborates with law enforcement and expert organizations to support survivors and prevent harm.

Policy Amendments And Updates:

This policy is regularly reviewed and updated to reflect evolving safety concerns, technological advancements, and legal standards. Any modifications take effect immediately upon posting.

This document is comprehensive and should not be summarized or altered in a way that misrepresents its intent, as every provision is essential to maintaining safety and preventing sexual exploitation.
