However, we do not allow content that facilitates sexual encounters, promotes commercial sexual services, or engages in sexual solicitation, as these activities may involve trafficking, coercion, or non-consensual acts.

Additionally, sexually explicit language that may lead to solicitation is restricted, as some users within our global community may find such content inappropriate or offensive. Our goal is to ensure that Nexus remains a safe, respectful space for social connection, advocacy, and education, while preventing interactions that could enable exploitation or harm.

Prohibited Content:

Nexus removes content that directly or indirectly facilitates sexual transactions, including:

Prostitution And Commercial Sex Services

Content that offers, solicits, or promotes prostitution, escort services, or other forms of commercial sex work is not allowed. This includes:

• Explicit offers or requests for sexual activity in exchange for money, goods, services, or anything of value.

• Sexual/erotic massages, domination services, or fetish-related sexual encounters offered for compensation.

• Sexual slang terms combined with pricing, location, contact information, or hints at payment for services.

• Recruitment or third-party facilitation of sex work, which is also considered under our Human Exploitation Policy.

Sexual Solicitation

We prohibit content that engages in explicit or implicit sexual solicitation, including:

• Requests for sexual partners, including those with shared sexual interests or fetishes.

• Offers or solicitations for sex chat, video calls, nude photos, or other sexually explicit materials.

• Sharing of contact information or requests to be contacted directly in a sexually suggestive context.

• Depictions of regional sexual slang, commonly sexualized emojis, sexually suggestive poses, sex positions, or fetish scenarios.

Pornographic Content And Explicit Descriptions

Content that offers, requests, or links to pornographic material is strictly prohibited. This includes:

• Direct links to external pornographic websites or services.

• Offers to buy, sell, or exchange pornographic content.

Additionally, sexually explicit language describing graphic details of:

• Sexual arousal (e.g., wetness, erections).

• Sexual acts (e.g., penetration, masturbation, fetish scenarios).

Exceptions apply for humor, satire, educational discussions, sexual metaphors, or sexual cursing, provided the intent is clear and does not encourage solicitation.

Permitted Discussions And Exceptions:

Certain content that might otherwise be restricted is allowed when shared for:

• Educational or awareness-raising purposes.

• Journalistic reporting on sex work regulation, trafficking, or sexual violence.

• Advocacy for sex worker rights.

• Discussions on sexual health, intimacy, or safe sex practices.

• Classes or programs that teach about sexuality and relationships.

Age-Restricted Content (18+):

While some sexual discussions are allowed, Nexus limits access to users aged 18 and older for:

• Expressions of sexual desire or discussions of sexual experiences.

• Graphic sexual metaphors or sexual cursing that describe:

  • A state of sexual arousal (e.g., wetness, erection).

  • Sexual acts (e.g., penetration, masturbation, fetish scenarios).

Contextual Considerations And Satirical Content:

Some content that may otherwise violate this policy is allowed if the intent is satirical, critical, or comedic. Content will only be permitted if the sexual elements are being mocked, criticized, or used for humor rather than facilitating solicitation or exploitation.

Policy Enforcement And Monitoring:

Nexus enforces this policy using:

• AI and human moderation to detect and remove violating content.

• User reports to review and assess content.

• Age restrictions to prevent minors from accessing mature discussions.

• Account monitoring and removal of repeat violators.

Policy Amendments And Updates:

This policy is subject to regular review and modifications in response to legal developments, community feedback, and evolving safety concerns. Any changes take effect immediately upon posting.
