Job Policy

These Nexus Job Posting Policies ("Job Policies") outline the standards and requirements for employment-related content posted on the Nexus platform. These policies govern all job listings, recruitment solicitations, and employment-related advertisements shared on Nexus by businesses, staffing agencies, individual recruiters, and other hiring entities. By posting job-related content on Nexus, you agree to comply with these Job Policies, the Nexus Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and all relevant employment laws and regulations.

Nexus reserves the right to monitor, approve, reject, or remove any job post at its sole discretion, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to non-compliance with these Job Policies or applicable laws. Violations of these Job Policies may result in content removal, restriction of posting privileges, or account suspension or termination.

2. Compliance with Employment Laws:

All job postings must adhere to applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, including but not limited to regulations regarding fair hiring practices, non-discrimination, equal employment opportunities, wage transparency, and worker protections. Employers and recruiters bear the sole responsibility for ensuring their job postings are legally compliant and do not violate any employment statutes.

3. Prohibited Job Posting Content:

To maintain a safe and professional environment for job seekers, Nexus prohibits job postings that promote or solicit employment opportunities involving any of the following:

a. Adult Products and Services Job postings must not advertise roles involving adult entertainment, sexually explicit content, escort services, or the sale, distribution, or promotion of adult products.

b. Discriminatory Hiring Practices Job postings must not discriminate against candidates based on legally protected characteristics, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, color, national origin, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, family or marital status, disability, genetic information, military status, or any other legally protected classification.

c. Drug-Related Products and Services Job postings must not promote employment opportunities related to the sale, production, or distribution of illegal or recreational drugs, including cannabis and drug paraphernalia, where prohibited by law.

d. Illegal or Unlawful Products and Services Job postings must not advertise employment opportunities connected to illegal activities, products, or services. Employers must verify that their job listings comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

e. Misleading, Deceptive, or Fraudulent Jobs Job postings must provide accurate and transparent information about job duties, compensation, benefits, work location, and other material conditions. Postings that contain misleading job descriptions, false claims, or undisclosed terms will be removed.

f. Impersonation and False Representation Employers and recruiters must accurately represent their association with a company and must not impersonate another business, entity, or individual. Any attempt to mislead job seekers about the identity of the hiring organization is strictly prohibited.

g. Multilevel Marketing (MLM) and Pyramid Schemes Job postings that involve commission-based recruitment structures, pyramid schemes, or misleading business models that promise financial gains with minimal investment are not permitted.

h. Jobs Without Genuine Employment Opportunities All job postings must represent legitimate employment opportunities. Advertisements for business opportunities, independent contracting with undefined pay structures, unpaid internships without proper disclosures, or work-from-home scams are prohibited.

i. Personal Information Solicitation Job postings must not request sensitive personal information, such as Social Security numbers, banking details, credit card information, or government-issued identification, before an official hiring process is in place. Employers must follow applicable data protection regulations when collecting applicant information.

j. Profanity, Poor Grammar, and Unprofessional Language Job postings must maintain professional language, correct grammar, and proper punctuation. Excessive spelling errors, inappropriate use of symbols, or the inclusion of profanity or unprofessional language will result in removal.

k. Sexually Suggestive Content Job postings must not contain sexually suggestive language, images, or job descriptions that imply engagement in sexual conduct, companionship services, or erotic employment opportunities.

4. Best Practices for Job Postings:

To create high-quality job postings that attract suitable candidates and comply with Nexus’s policies, employers and recruiters should follow these best practices:

  • Provide a detailed job description: Clearly outline job responsibilities, required skills, qualifications, and expectations.

  • Disclose salary and benefits: Where legally required, include compensation details, benefits, and other employment terms.

  • Ensure accurate company information: Clearly state the hiring company's name, location, and relevant contact details.

  • Avoid vague or misleading terms: Clearly communicate job expectations, including work location (remote, hybrid, or on-site) and application procedures.

  • Maintain professional engagement: Respond to job applicants in a timely and respectful manner.

5. Job Posting Review and Policy Enforcement:

Nexus actively monitors job postings to ensure adherence to these Job Policies. Any non-compliant job posting may be removed without prior notice. Policy violations may result in:

  • Content removal: Immediate deletion of job postings that violate these policies.

  • Posting restrictions: Temporary or permanent suspension of job posting privileges.

  • Account suspension or termination: Repeated or severe violations may lead to permanent account termination.

If a job posting is removed, employers and recruiters may appeal the decision by submitting relevant information demonstrating compliance with Nexus’s Job Policies and applicable employment laws.

6. Policy Updates and Amendments:

Nexus reserves the right to update, revise, or expand these Job Policies at any time. Changes may be implemented due to updates in employment laws, industry standards, or platform requirements. Users will be notified of material changes via platform notifications or policy page updates. Continued use of Nexus’s job posting services after any policy updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
