The Basics

An individualized email will be dispatched, furnishing property-specific details, as each utility company operates with slight variations. Impatient to receive an email?   1. Contact each utility provider and local municipality, including water, sewer, garbage, gas, electric services, and if relevant, the Homeowners Association (HOA) company.

  2. Opt out of receiving electronic statements via email and instead, make a request for paper statements.

  3. Notify them that you are leasing the property and that the property is under the management of Nexus.

  4. Keep the utility accounts under your name.

  5. Forward all physical statements and notifications to:
